He was predeceased by: his parents, Esta W. Hipple and Helen V. Hipple (Dreher); his wife Mary J. Hipple (Black); his son Michael Lee Hipple; his siblings, Phyllis I. Gray, Priscilla I. Jones, Patricia Y. Hipple and Heber E. Hipple; and his great grandchild Nasya Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert E. Hipple, Jr. (Alicia), Stephen L. Hipple (Leesa), Ginger L. Collins and Terri L. Gardner (Bud); and his brother Richard E. Hipple. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
