He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Spurling (Imhulse) and Arthur Spurling; and his brothers, Alvin "Al" (Gladys) and Leonard "Len" (Bea). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his daughter Lynn (Brian Schneider); his granddaughter Samantha; his sister Marge Smith (Ted); and his friend Bill Kettler (Rose). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
