She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonnie Cheek and Alma Cantrell; her husband Lawrence Smith; her son Larry Smith; her grandson Larry Smith Jr.; and her great grandchild Andrew Campbell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Thomas (Larry), Carolyn Campbell (Gary) and Ruby "Ellen" Bruggeman (Jim). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; a dear aunt; other relatives and friends.
