He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur T. Bishop and Dorothy V. Bishop (Berry); his wife Wilma Jeanne Bishop (Welter) of Medway, Ohio.; his grandson Derek Alan Sears; and his sisters, Wanetta Daughtery of Washington Courthouse and Glenna LeMaster of Springfield, Ohio..

He is survived by: his children, Steven Eugene Bishop of Medway and Deborah Diane Sears (Bishop); his son-in-law Donald Alan Sears; and his great grandchildren, Carter Alan Sears and Lila Jade Sears of New Carlisle, Ohio..
