He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Kim Ely (David) and Ronald Litchney; his grandsons, Matthew Ely (Jacqueline), Stephen Ely (Lauren) and Nicholas Ely; and his siblings, Jean Hofmann (Richard) and Ted Litchney (Nora).
