With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Masel M. Johnson of McConnelsville, Ohio, born in Lowell, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey McKown and Hazel Nichols McKown; her husband Phillip Johnson; and her siblings, Betty Perdew, Edward, Richard and Dale McKown.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Peggy Shiflett (Philip) of Marietta, Robert Johnson (Mary Ellen) of Moberly, MO and David Johnson (Carma) of McConnelsville; her grandchildren, Matthew Clawson, Eric Johnson, Brian Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Josie Pasco and Jack Johnson; her stepgrandchildren, Tori Parsons and Dari Bragg; and her siblings, Norma Forrest of Waterford and Neil McKown of Beverly. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
