He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion and William; his granddaughter Kristina Lynn Ru; his wife Elsie; and his granddaughter Kristina Lynn Russ.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Russ (Beth), Cyndi Csuhran (Ronald) and William M.; his grandchildren, Melissa Csuhran, Brittany Schmidt (Justin), Brandon Csuhran and Jonathan Russ; and his great grandchildren, Josie, Landon and Macie Schmidt.
