He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence V. Hug and Hannah Hug Sr. (Schuck). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hug (Bergert); his children, William Hug and Suzanne Borden (Doug); his brother John Hug (Sue); his sister-in-law Clarice Hug; his granddaughter Stephanie Westerh (Alex); his great grandchild Reagan; his stepson Chris Bergert; his stepgrandchildren, Logan, Abbie and Calvin; his stepdaughter Megan Bergert-Lin (David); his stepgranddaughter Maya; his former wife Lydia Ann Hug (Kurtz); and his brother Lawrence Hug Jr..
