He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lanette Szymkowicz; his children, Matthew Szymkowicz (Tera), Michael "Kody" Szymkowicz, Joseph Szymkowicz and Gabrielle Szymkowicz; and his sisters, Sandra Horner and Angie Kelso (Bruce). He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.
