We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mae Elizabeth Stephens of Mason, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eleanor Jackson Zehler and William Hawkins; her husband Robert E. Stephens; her brother W. Ronald Hawkins; her children, Patricia J. Mazzei (late Ronald R. Mazzei), Edward C. Stephens and Heather Dawn Stephens (Green); her grandchildren, Joseph Stephens (Lizz Kent Stephens), Lisa Stephens and Aaron M. Mazzei (Leandra Schwing Mazzei); her great grandchildren, Cody Stephens, Christopher Mazzei and Kai Stephens; and her half-brother Kenneth Hawkins. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I worked at Christian Village and Mae was always a delight. She was friendly, funny, and always wanted her bathroom extra clean (of course I complied). She’d tell me it was “wonderful that a young lady like you worked so hard” and never failed in making me feel appreciated. She was a lady like no other, and I’m deeply grateful I met her during my short time working there. My deepest condolences to your family and my best wishes to Mae for her next journey.”
