He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. Shillington and Emily Shillington; his parents-in-law, Paul and Thelma Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Dick and Tom Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son David; his daughter-in-law Diane of Warminster, Pennsylvania; his daughter Karen Long of Mason; his granddaughter Kari Sargent (Kris) of Abilene, Texas.; his siblings, Bill of Columbus, OH and Betty Rasmussen (Ken) of Brookfield, WI; and his sister-in-law Beverly Smith of Sheffield Lake, OH.
