He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gammell and Minnie Belle Gammell (Winkle); his siblings, Phyllis Barrett and Willard Gammell; and his niece Joyce Barrett Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Judith L (Milby); his daughters, Kim (Matt Loudis) of Douglassville, PA, Gay Truehart (Dan Yurkiewicz) of Wyomissing, PA, Christine (Ron Barshinger) of Myerstown, PA and Chanin; his father-in-law Bob Tussing; his grandchildren, Kyle Loudis (Adri), Brad Loudis (Sarah), Mike, Vinny Truehart, Josh Barshinger (Heather), Daniel Barshinger, Amber Pruett, Tara Wood (Adam), Garrett and Alexandra Tussing; and his great grandchildren, Carter Loudis, Kenji Loudis-Peters, Scarlett, Sophia, Maverick Barshinger and Jason Wood.
