He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burke and Connie Bee Burke; and his brother Lester Burke. He is survived by: his great-nephew Ian; his wife Chris Burke; his son Ian Burke; his parents-in-law, Jeffry and Marilyn Hoehne; his siblings, Kathy Ecob (Bob), Michael Burke (Deb), Kevin Burke (Dawn) and Scott Burke; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Kim (Edward), Amie Synan (Mike) and Mark Hoehne (Farrah); and his nieces and nephews, Tom Ecob (Zany), Dean Burke, Drew Burke, Fischer Burke, Ella Burke, Sydney Kim, Emily Kim, Ethan Kim, Alyxandra Synan, Keegan Synan, Ava Hoehne, Evan Hoehne and Miles Hoehne. He is also survived by friends, colleagues, and extended family.

Memorial donations may be made in Doug's name to the American Heart Association.
