She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Agnes Toney and Pete Toney; and her husband Robert "Bob" James. She is survived by: her children, Rose Miller (Gary), Robert James (Redeana), Timothy James, Glenn James (Tammy Long), Leroy James, Andy James Jessie (Irain), Jennifer Smith and Jane Bauman Long. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and loving friends.
The family requests that any memorials be made to further support Leroy. Contributions may be made in care of his sister, Jennifer Smith.
