He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Griffith and Ethel Burkholder Griffith. He is survived by: his son Steve Griffith; his sisters, Miriam Mut and Loretta Kleiber; his wife Ann Marie Dilmuth Griffith; his daughters, Janie Blumenschein (David) of Marysville and Cheryl Ryan (Larry) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Bryan, Ann, Lindsay Blumenschein, Ashley and Justin Ryan (Rebekah); his great grandchildren, Kali, Brady, Addisyn and Brooklyn; his brother Ed Griffith (Carol) of Marysville; and his siblings-in-law, Don Kleiber and Judy Teets (Don). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
