He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wisse and Denelda Bostleman Wisse. He is survived by: his wife Brenda A. Sherman Wisse; his daughter Tracy L. Wisse of Washington, D. C.; his brother Glenn Wisse (Tina) of New Philadelphia; and his former wife Donna M. Kise of Marysville. He is also survived by other relatives and good friends.
