He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. and Mary E. Robinson (Hildebrand); his son Greg; his siblings, Bill Robinson, Emma Ann Cremonese, John Robinson and Nancy Shute; and his brother-in-law Robert Herkins.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Herkins; his children, Craig Robinson (Susan) of Westerville, Scott Robinson (Elizabeth) of Columbus and Karen Benedict (Keith) of Plain City; his grandchildren, Danielle Benedict and Dylan Benedict (Rachel); his great grandchild Blair Benedict; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Holtzapple, Camilla Herkins and Bill Herkins (Lori). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
