She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Boerger and Myrta Opal Baughman Boerger; her husband Arthur Kandel; her son Jeff Kandel; her granddaughter Brooke Bright; and her siblings, Sinclair Boerger, Marie Calvert, Lillian Taylor, Luther Boerger and Charles Boerger.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Shaffner of Florida, Terry Boston of Findlay, Deb Jackson of Marysville and Connie Bright (Rick) of Marysville; her grandchildren, Mike Shaffner (Angel), Jamie Shaffner, Sandy Ziebold (Caleb), Becky Mockensterm (Matt), Brenda Vollrath (Neil), Mandy Lunsford (Brian) and Betsy Boerger (Aaron); her brother John Arth (Rose) of Marysville; and her sister-in-law Mabel Boerger of North Carolina. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
