We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 86, Carl D. Blumenschine of Marysville, Ohio, born in Kenton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Blumenschine and Elizabeth M. Blumenschine (Brenner); his brother Donald Blumenschine; his brothers-in-law, John Sorgen and Hank Zobrist; his parents-in-law, Charles Fletcher and Wilma Brown (Sampson); and his niece Julie Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Fletcher; his children, Timothy Blumenschine (Ann) of Disputanta, Virginia and Diana Chase (Dennis) of Fredericktown; his grandchildren, Scott Stafford of Columbus, Ryan Blumenschine of Winter Garden and Rachael Blumenschine of Disputanta, Virginia; his sisters, Doris Sorgen and Linda Zobrist of Kettering; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Blumenschine of Suttons Bay, Michigan, Charles "Bill" Fletcher (Carol) of Circleville and Robert "Bob" Fletcher (Kathy) of Ashville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Carl's memory, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio in care of the funeral home.
