He was predeceased by: his father Martin Augenstein; his son David Augenstein; his aunt Nancy Augenstein; his uncles, Bernie Augenstein and Gary Silvers; and his sister Laurie Arnold.
He is survived by: his mother Judy Augenstein (Silvers); his aunts and uncles, Dave (Phyllis), Bob (Elaine), Lynn Augenstein (Ruthie), Ruth Silvers and Linda Augenstein; his former wife Kae; his brothers, Steven (Amy) and Michael Augenstein; and his nephews, Adam and Evan Augenstein.
