He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Williams and Paul Davis; his son Charles Davis (Charlie); and his siblings, Dave and Ann.

He is survived by: his sons, William "Bear" Davis II (Carol), James Davis (Tonya) and Matthew Davis; his siblings-in-law, Charlene McCoy, Chuck McCoy (Christi) and Jim Miller (Sandy); and his buddies, Bullet and Ammo. He is also survived by four nieces, a nephew, seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
