He was predeceased by: his father Reverend Robert Ray Ruse Sr.; and his grandparents, Ray, Aurelia Ruse, John and Frances Rebmann.
He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Ruse; his brothers, Michael Ruse and Timothy Ruse; his daughters, Paige Ruse and Shannon Ruse (David Allen); and his aunts and uncles, Karmen and Bill Schaumleffel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
