It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard G. Stewart of Marietta, Ohio, born in Rosemont, West Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alliston Paul Stewart and Marjorie Pearl Waller Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Spears; his children, Rick Stewart (Colleen) of Mocksville, NC and Kyla Dent (Greg) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Karly Hardesty (Bryan) and Shaun Dent (Michelle Baker); his great grandchildren, Kilynn, Aydric Wynn, Beaudyn and Kambrye Hardesty; and his pets, Briley and Stryker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Ohio Valley Humane Society or American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
