He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reid and Kathleen Reid (Daugherty); his son Andrew Conan; and his siblings, James M. Reid and Mary Ellen Greener (Reid).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Reid (Palmer) of Marietta; his sons, Mark Eugene (Gail) of Mountain View and Brian Paul (Sally Hair) of Hanover; and his grandchildren, Eleanor Reid of Hanover, Graham Reid of Silver Spring and Brenna Reid of Monterey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
