He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward McGee and Clarice Wilson McGee; and his brothers, Richard, Pat, Don and Jim.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Groves; his son J. D. McGee (Kris) of Whipple; and his brother John McGee.
