He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Earl and Rosanna Schramm (Hayes); his wife Thelma Jean Ullman; and his siblings, Grace Schneeberger, June Schneeberger, Jean Diller and Clyde Schramm.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Schramm (Patti), Russ Schramm (Marge) and Diane Anderson (James). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
