He is survived by: his wife Susanne Gerhart; his stepsons, Jason Thompson and Charles Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, Arby Thompson, Casey Miller, Xavier Thompson and Vincent Thompson; his brother Terry Gerhart (Tosha); and his niece Ashley Hollinger.
