James J. Goldsmith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, at the age of 96, James J. Goldsmith of Mansfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest R. Goldsmith and Eva Goldsmith (Ackerman); his sister Ruth Moore; his son James Goldsmith; and his son-in-law James Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Goldsmith (Hildebrand); his children, Carol Williams of Mansfield, Michael Goldsmith (Jenifer) of Shiloh and Lisa Zimmerman (John Achevich) of Columbus; his daughter-in-law Judy Goldsmith of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Sarah Fox (Shane), Jared Goldsmith (Kate), Lindsey Holden (Jerry), Natalie Knazek (Steven), Whitney Fanello (Vince), Sylvia Goldsmith and Alex Goldsmith; and his pet Taffy. He is also survived by sixteen greatgrandchildren.
