She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermann Knopp and Amalia Knopp (Küehchen); her husband Werner Schnieders; and her stepmother Anna Knopp. She is survived by: her children, Rosemarie Elrod (Charlie), Ursula Hunter (Jeff), Rudi Schnieders (Angela), Karen Dailey (Bill) and Christa Puterbaugh (David); her stepson Johannes Peuler; her grandchildren, Andrew Elrod (Rebecca), Audrey Sevenbergen (Ryan), Lynn Milligan Leist, Lori Hysell (Jeremy), Justin Hunter (Shannon), Anthony Hunter (Emily), Natasha Lowther, CJ Yockey, Anna Yockey, Nicholas Putterbaugh, Aaron Puterbaugh, Karin Peuler (Andreas) and Frank Peuler; and her close friend Clothilde Best. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church.
