She was predeceased by: her parents, James Martin and Sina Martin (Ledsome); her son Rodney Sherman; and her husband Bill Adkins. She is survived by: her daughter Sissy Sherman; her brother Chester Martin; her close friend John Ruehle (R.); her sister-in-law Fredia Adkins; and her grandson Lee Spencer. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
