Edward Ralph Skidgell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Ralph Skidgell of Mansfield, Ohio, born in Presque Isle, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edward Ralph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward Ralph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Skidgell and Florence F. Skidgell (Fournier). He is survived by: his daughter Dena M. Skidgell (Greg J. Scheurer); his granddaughter Baylie A. Scheurer (Alex J. Knipe); and his brother Fred D. Skidgell (Corrine Kazda).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation or the National Museum of the Marine Corps are welcomed.
