He is survived by: his wife Joyce Atkins; his children, Joshua Atkins (Amber) of Clarksville and Amanda Atkins of Dalton; his grandchildren, Olivia and Lincoln Atkins; his siblings, Dan Atkins (Lori) of Lexington, Jane Hicks (Bruce Morrison) of Wooster and Luke Wheeler (Sherry) of South Carolina; and his brother-in-law Les Kanis. He is also survived by Papa to his grandchildren.
