We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2024, at the age of 72, Brenda Kay Morris of Mansfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Brenda Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Brenda Kay's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison J. Morris and Susie Sams; and her stepfather Joe Sams. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Diggs; her sisters, Helen Jones (Earl) and Evelyn Kirkland Ingram (Chris); her stepbrother Freddie Sams; and her aunt Lela Mae Carrick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We were a spectacle. Brenda came to me and then a colleague of mine shared she had been hospitalized. I felt her being and she passed one day before mine and my wife's birthday who she knew as well.
