He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Edward and Katherine Gunther (Joss); and his sister Donna Kaye Dudley of Chicago. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gunther (Allen); his children, Madonna Katherine Gordon of Norwich, VT, Michelle Lynne Beard of Lexington, KY, John Edward Gunther (Sharalee) of Lexington, OH and David Allen Gunther of Spring Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Gil Gordon, Gunnar Gordon, John Paul Beard, Weston Gunther, Chandler Gunther (Rebekah), Everett Gunther, Johnny Gunther, Grace Gunther, Caden Gunther, Emma Gunther and Ethan Gunther; and his brother Richard Martin Gunther of Reston, VA. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
