He is survived by: his parent Leona Fern Russell (Thomas); his wife Wilma Russell (Wetzel); his children, Dixie Hawkins of Carrollton, Scott Russell (Janice) of Minerva, Penny McDaniel Glass of Wilmore, KY and Cindy Guzman (Hector) of Canton; and his siblings, Raymond Russell (Jean) of Plain City and Kathleen Klotz (Richard) of North Canton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
