He is survived by: his children, Staci Pierce of Heath, Kelly Apperson of Malta and Jason Pierce (Amanda) of Malta; his grandchildren, Baylie Apperson, Alex Houk, Kaylie Apperson, Riley Pierce, Brooklyn Pierce and Gavin Apperson; his sisters, Diane Eby of New Lexington, Carolyn Moore of McConnelsville, Wanda McDaniel of Malta, Pat McCoy of Stockport, Nancy Lane of Malta and Sara Kangas of Malta; and his pet Sadie.
