He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hood and Alice Rickey Hood; and his siblings, Rick, Lonnie, Juanita and Saundra.
He is survived by: his wife Peggie Spencer Hood; his son Mickey Hood of Malta; his stepdaughter Lorrie Hood Palmer of Xenia; and his sisters, Lilly Hendrickson of Apopka, Fla, Kay Hood of Xenia and Gail Gerard of New Carlisle. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
