He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe DeRosa and Carmela DeRosa (Nardi); and his siblings, Dominic DeRosa, Virginia Bowers, Mary Verdi, Rosie Giamo and Angie Gilson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Leason; his sons, Joseph M. DeRosa (Patti) of Canton, OH and Dr. Robert DeRosa (Terri) of Toledo; his grandchildren, Valerie Stanley (Dan), J. B. DeRosa (Caitlin), Grace DeRosa (Eric) and Tony DeRosa; and his great grandchildren, Eva, Isaac Stanley and Joslin DeRosa.
