He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Jones; his daughter Michelle Grothjan (Nick); his grandchildren, Allison Grothjan and Adam Grothjan; and his siblings, Carol Wilkinson (Tom), Nancy Roell and Allen Jones (Gene).
