She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Vernier and Mabel Vernier (Schloneger); her husband George W. Bordner; and her siblings, Norma Elliot and Richard Vernier.

She is survived by: her sons, Ron (Sherry), Randy and Rod Bordner; and her siblings, Nancy Thompson, Norman (Kathleen), Larry (Nancy) and Dennis Vernier (Cheryl). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
