He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Patterson and Belle Patterson (Carbell). He is survived by: his children, Christine Marie Patterson of Canton, Shirley Ann Patterson of Canton, Vincent Eugene Patterson of Waynesburg and Eric Spencer Patterson of Louisville; his brothers, James Walter Patterson of Canton and Robert Earl Patterson of Canton; and his close friend Michelle R. Parker. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
