She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kroah and Elva Kroah (Heibner); and her siblings, Donna Jones and Raymond Kroah (Jan). She is survived by: her husband Michael Spitale; her children, Christine Seemann (Bruce), Angela Begert (Bob) and Tom Spitale (Dawn); her siblings, Patty Hughes and William Kroah, Jr. (Carole); her grandchildren, Sarah Spitale, Thomas Spitale, Carly Whitsett (Kyle), Angelina Seemann and Gianni Spitale; and her great grandchild Killian Whitsett.

Perhaps the truest mark of her character was the fact that, despite the ravages of Alzheimer's, she maintained the sweetest disposition that anyone had ever seen of someone in that condition.
