She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Barnes and LeAnna Barnes; her husband James J "Jim" Cook; and her sister-in-law Beverly Barnes (Zwick). She is survived by: her brothers, John Paul and Richard Barnes (Linda); her children, Rick James (Jennifer) of Pensacola, Florida, Lori Nero (Ernie) and Valerie Batdorff (Dan); and her grandchildren, Zachary Nero, Brooke Solvey, Anthony Nero and Austin Solvey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
