She was predeceased by: her parents, Manolo Perez and Luz Perez (Cuervo Garcia); her husband Louis Vega; her siblings, Manuel Perez and Armonia Fernandez; and her sister-in-law Willadean Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Schneider (Jim) of Louisville and Michael Vega of Louisville; her grandchildren, Mick Schneider (Jennifer), Mark Schneider (Samantha) and Emily Bartlett (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Lanie and Parker; and her brother-in-law John Fernandez. She is also survived by eight nephews and nieces.
