She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stauffer and Helen Stauffer (McMullen); and her siblings, Leroy Stauffer and Sherrill Goad. She is survived by: her husband C. Duane Obrecht; her sons, Craig Obrecht (Kathy) and Jon Obrecht (Angie); her granddaughters, Crystal Brown (Wesley), Cynthia Stands (Jason) and Elizabeth Obrecht; her great grandchildren, Leighaja and Cardae Brown; and her sister Susan Rubba (Peter) of State College, PA. She is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Sandy's memory to may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, OhioHealth Hospice, and the Ashland County Cancer Society.
