He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Long and Mary Elizabeth Long (Maxwell); his son Ralph E. Long; and his sister Helen Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Joanne C. Morgan Long; his children-in-law, Terry Zuercher of Shelby and Debra Long of Loudonville; his grandsons, Chris Zuercher (Sarah), Michael Zuercher (Rochelle), Ralph Long (Jackelyn) and Daniel Long (Jaclyn); his great grandchildren, Beckett, Bennett, Griffin Zuercher, Jackson, Sawyer and Emma Long; and his siblings, Herbert D. Long of Loudonville and Ruth Mitchell of Strongsville.
