She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Perkins and Etta Groves Perkins; her husband George Whiteley; and her siblings, Evelyn Wright, Vernon and Oliver Perkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Durr (Richard) of Lore City; her grandchildren, Richard Lane and Tamara Geiser; her great grandchildren, Michael, Makayla, Kathryn, Samantha and Luke; her great great grandchildren, Eliana and Alexander; and her siblings, Della Knecht of Akron, Barbara Hopper of Batavia and William Perkins of Barnesville.
