We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Charles E. Farmer of Lore City, Ohio, born in Dexter, Kentucky. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Farmer and Bedie Farmer (Dixon); his wife Mary Farmer (Higginbotham); and his sisters, Sheila Martin and Hilda Davis.

He is survived by: his children, Ed Higginbotham (Kaye) of Nixa, MO, Jim Farmer (Ann) of West Paducah, KY, Rick Farmer (Lorretta) of Newport News, VA, Charlotte Finkler (Bruce) of Brunswick, Brenda Farmer (Sonny Freehoffer) of Brunswick and Janet Farmer-Haney (James Haney) of Lodi; and his siblings, Cecil Farmer of Michigan, Chuck Farmer of Kentucky and Beatrice Ellison of South Dakota. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday (November 16, 2020) from 4 p. m. to 8 p. m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. [Per our Governor's current COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend the visitation and/or services.
