She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Stokes and Edson Stokes; and her sister Annabelle. She is survived by: her spouse Linvel C. Karres; her children, Linvel E. Karres (Mary), Diane Kershaw (Joe), Kathleen Patton (Chuck) and Kimberly McCauley (Tedd); and her grandchildren, Kirstin, Allison, Megan, Jessica, Weston, Colleen, Erica and Seth. She is also survived by her husband and friends.
