He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hess and Geneva Burt Hess; his spouse Glennadine Mae Albright; his grandsons, Eric Smith and Melvin Chesshir; his sisters, Eutora Routte and Veronica; his brother-in-law Leroy Collins; and his nephews, Mark Snyder and Anthony Curry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Williams (Jerald) of Frankfort and Marlene Fannon (Mike) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Crystal, Danny, Zack, Tonya and Sondra; his great grandchildren, Amber, Josh, Nick, Kale and Layton; his great great grandchildren, Peyton, Addie and Sam; his nephew Ronald Routte (Debbie); and his friend Gary Hill (Carol).
